Our experience with the Skurt App
The first thing we noticed after opening the app was the beautiful and clean UI. The top of the first page allows customers to choose their location and rental dates. The bottom shows the different car makes and prices.
Once we selected our choice, the next page is the booking page. It clearly lays out the prices and details of our trip. They are upfront and open with their pricing. Having dealt with other rental agencies that have tons of hidden costs, Skurt is a breath of fresh air.
Our car was $21/day for the days we booked for our Skurt Review. There is an additional $15 delivery fee and tax that brought our total to 43.19. We were pretty happy with that considering someone was hand delivering the car to our workplace.
The actual cars are clean and modern. We chose the Toyota Corolla, but Skurt has lux options of a Mercedes and other fancier cars. The vehicles seem very much like any car you would get from Hertz or Turo.
When finished with the car, a Skurt employee will come and retrieve the vehicle. Everything ran amazingly smooth when we tried out the App. Skurt knows that the main attraction of their app is the convenience and they excel at it. Avoiding lines and saving time was easily worth the $15 delivery fee in our opinion.

We like to break down the pricing and costs, so everything is transparent. Luckily for us, Skurt is already very open about their pricing. Skurt costs us $21 a day for the Toyota Corolla, while a similar car at Hertz costs $22. Skurt is cheaper even with their added convienience.
We also decided to calculate our time required to pick up the Hertz car and include that in the difference. We gave ourselves a salary of $30 an hour for this test. It took us a total of 1 hour and 25 minutes to head to the Hertz location, book the car and head back. If we were to include our time, we should add $45 to the Hert price.
