Qomfort Mattress Review
The Qomfort Mattress is a very soft bed. I would have to give it a 3 out of 10 firmness rating. (10 being the firmest) Sleepers looking for a very soft cloud-like feel should be right at home on the Qomfort.
The downside of this softness was the mattresses limited support. It is essential to use a box spring or similar foundation with the Qomfort. I tried the Qomfort mattress on weak bed slats and found a good amount of sag in the middle. When I put the mattress on a box spring, the sag went away. It is important to have a good foundation if you are looking to buy a soft mattress like the Qomfort.
I also found that there was very little edge support with this bed. I sank in at least 3-4 inches when sitting on the edge. That should give you a feel for how soft this bed is.
Another positive of the softness was the lack of horizontal motion through the mattress. I was able to jump around on the bed and not disturb my partner. If you shift around a lot during the night, you want a bed that absorbs the movement.
Sex is a bit more of a challenge with the Qomfort. The soft mattress absorbs movement and forces partners to expend more energy. If you are looking for a great sex bed, I recommend reading our top 5 sex mattresses.
How hot does the Qomfort Sleep?
Qomfort has worked with sleep scientists to create a unique liquid gel formula. They inject the gel into the foam during the creation process, so it becomes part of the bed. The gel provides extra air circulation that keeps sleepers cool and fresh through the night. I had no issues with temperature during the night. Qomfort does a great job staying cool even in hotter temperatures.
There was a little bit of smell with the Qomfort when we opened it. I recommend leaving the windows and doors open for a full day to let the smell dissipate.
